Who we are

"Cookie's World" (העולם של קוקי) is a Hebrew educational app for young children, guided by Muku the pink dragon. The app is operated by CYOPS LTD ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information we collect when you use the app and website, why, and what rights you have as a parent.

Information we collect

• Account details (from the parent): an email address and username created at sign-up. If you choose to sign in with Apple or Google, we receive a unique identifier and email address from that service.
• Preferences and progress: such as the chosen character, completed levels and settings, so the experience continues where your child left off.
• Basic technical data: general information needed to run the app reliably (such as device type). We do not build an advertising profile of your child.
• Microphone (only where relevant): some activities may request microphone access for a speech activity. Audio is used only to power that activity, in real time; it is not used to identify your child and is never sold.

How we use information

• To provide the app, save progress and personalise the experience.
• To manage the account and subscription, including the 14-day free trial.
• To keep the service safe and working, and to prevent misuse.
• To respond when you contact us for support.

Children's privacy

The app is directed to children, and we operate in line with children's protection rules (including COPPA in the US and GDPR-K in the EU). We do not ask children to provide personal details, we do not show ads, and we do not let third parties track children for marketing. An account is created and managed by a parent or guardian.

Payments and subscriptions

Subscriptions are purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Payment itself is processed by them — we do not receive or store any payment card details. We only receive confirmation of your subscription status.

Sign in with Apple and Google

If you choose "Sign in with Apple" or "Sign in with Google", we receive a unique identifier and an email address to create and recognise your account. We never receive your password for those services.

Who we share information with

We do not sell personal information and we do not share children's data for advertising. We use trusted infrastructure providers (such as hosting and cloud) solely to run the service, and they are obliged to protect the data. We only disclose information where required by law.

Storage and security

Passwords are stored in encrypted form and access to data is limited. We take reasonable measures to protect information, though no service is 100% secure.

Data retention

We keep account information for as long as the account is active. If you ask us to delete the account, we will delete the associated personal information within a reasonable time, except where we are required to keep it by law.

Your rights as a parent

You may request to review, correct or delete the information collected about your child, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, email us at [email protected].

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we'll update the date at the top of the page, and for a significant change we'll notify you in the app or on the website.
